About Us
This blog was dedicated to a loyal husband and father, Johnny Williams, who was diagnosed with Level 4 terminal Lung Cancer. Written by his wife, Rene, and daughter, Scarlett, we wanted to document the power of the human spirit marching through the trials of the cancer experience through the power of prayer and the Lord as the ultimate physician. In the end, we stood together proclaiming Jesus as Lord, while trusting our souls are in His loving hands.
Johnny went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2009, 8 short months after we first heard the news of his cancer. It was 8 months that changed the way we lived, and loved stronger than we ever knew before.
To those who shared our journey, we will forever be in a debt of thanks to you. Your comments on the blog and the hundreds of cards you mailed Johnny full of smiles and prayers were the wings that carried him through until the end.
We will keep this blog live in honor of his memory and the journey we walked hand in hand until it came time to let go of his.
We miss him, but we rejoice knowing he is dancing with Jesus.
